Randy Moss is a bad karma guy. I said it when we got him and I'm saying it now. I don't think we're winning another ring while he's on the team. Yes, he made that great one-handed over the shoulder catch but for every one of those there are five or six "why-didn't-you-catch-that"s. Brady needs to forget about the long ball down the sidelines to Moss and get back to some clean, basic football. Dance with the one that brung ya, Tom.
What's wrong with short little dink and dunk passes right over the middle or a screen pass now and then? And smash mouth defense. Damn I miss Willie Mac, Bruschi and Johnson in their heyday. And Milloy and Law at corner when they were young. Give me the good old days of strong defense and conservative, efficient offense.
There isn't much good sports news in New England right now. Yeah Lester pitched a hell of a game about seven games after it stopped mattering. The Pats looked good for the first half of their last two games. Special teams did its job. And that's about it.
