Take This Job and Shove It

It looks like Johnny Damon won't be gracing the Boston "fans" with his presence after all. He says they like him in Detroit. I don't know what went down in the front office or the locker room when Johnny left Fenway but it must have been pretty memorable. Or maybe not. Maybe he knows he just won't get the money or the contract he wants out of Boston. Either way it's kind of a shame, but hey, at least they like him in Detroit, and at the end of the day who doesn't want to be liked?
