There are many reasons why I don't miss Manny Ramirez and he just reminded me of most of them. In a stunning display of exaggerated self-importance, Manny got himself thrown out of Sunday's game, his last as a Dodger, after a single pitch as a pinch hitter. Unlike my husband, I wasn't the slightest bit sorry to see Manny go and to me, he is exactly today what he has always been: a spoiled little brat who throws his toys out of the playpen the moment he doesn't get his way. You're too old Manny, too old to act like an infant and too old to play games with your contract much longer. Your halcyon days are behind you.
He's going on to the White Sox now and they're welcome to him. Just so long as the socks I never see him in again are red, I'll be happy.
